Robot lawn mower without boundary wire in test: LiDAR vs RTK in comparison (ANTHBOT M5 vs M9)
Robot mowers without boundary wires are currently one of the most exciting developments in the gardening sector. In my test, I directly compared two different concepts: the ANTHBOT M5 as a LiDAR robotic lawnmower and the ANTHBOT M9 as an RTK robotic lawnmower with GPS navigation. Both models manage completely without a perimeter wire and show in the practical test how well cordless robotic lawn mowers really work today. In this comparison, I share my experiences from my own garden, discuss navigation, obstacle detection, edge cutting and set-up and clarify which robotic lawnmower without a wire is the best choice for which area of application.

Lymow One Plus in test: RTK robot mower for large areas & difficult terrain
In the Lymow One Plus test, I show how this robotic lawnmower performs in practice without a boundary wire on a large and demanding area. With RTK navigation, chain drive, 45° incline and a cutting width of 40 cm, the Lymow takes a significantly different approach to classic robotic mowers. I tested the new Lymow One Plus extensively and compared it directly with the Lymow One. The focus is on performance, navigation, off-road capability and the question of whether this system is really worthwhile for large plots of land. The article provides a detailed insight into the technology, set-up, practical test and my experiences – including strengths, weaknesses and a…

Lymow One in test: Robot mower without boundary wire with RTK navigation and chain drive
The Lymow One robotic lawnmower is one of the most exciting developments in the field of robotic lawnmowers without a boundary wire. My test shows how far modern RTK navigation, VSLAM, a robust chain drive and a wide mowing deck can simplify work on large lawns. The focus is on performance, precision and off-road capability – characteristics that I was able to test extensively on my own property and another larger test area. The report summarizes all the important aspects: from design and scope of delivery, set-up, mapping and app control to mowing performance, cutting pattern, obstacle detection and practice on uneven terrain. In addition to the test, I provide…

Dreame A1 Pro in test – Cordless robotic lawnmower without boundary wire & RTK
The Dreame A1 Pro robotic lawnmower is a wireless robotic lawnmower without a boundary wire, RTK or external antennae – and I was able to test it extensively for several weeks. In this article, I will show you how the Dreame A1 robotic lawnmower with LiDAR navigation, app control and intelligent obstacle detection works, where its strengths lie and where there is still room for improvement. All the technical data, my everyday experiences and a detailed comparison with other robotic lawnmowers – now in the full test report.

ECOVACS GOAT A1600 RTK: The innovative robotic lawnmower without boundary wire in the test
A robotic lawnmower without boundary wires can revolutionize lawn care – no more laying and repairing wires, just precise navigation with RTK technology. The ECOVACS GOAT A1600 RTK promises exactly that. After more than 10 years with the Gardena Sileno+, which was regularly slowed down by broken cables, we needed an alternative. In this test, I show how the GOAT A1600 RTK performs in practice: from installation and mapping to mowing quality and safety. Is the cordless robotic lawnmower really convincing? Here is the answer.
