High Chlorine Consumption—20 Liters of Chlorine in Two Weeks—My Troubleshooting at the Pool
After installing my BAYROL Automatic Cl-pH, a 20-liter can of liquid chlorine was almost empty in just under two weeks. Although the water was clear and the dosing system was working properly, consumption remained unusually high.
In the video, I document my troubleshooting process, explain the relationship between chlorine levels, redox potential, and cyanuric acid, and show why, in the end, only a water change helped. After that, chlorine consumption in my first series of measurements dropped by about 80 percent.
