Robotic lawn mower with LiDAR and a built-in trimmer: In this video, I’m testing the ECOVACS GOAT O1200 LiDAR Pro, a robotic lawn mower without a boundary wire or an RTK antenna. I’ll demonstrate the setup, automatic LiDAR mapping, control via the ECOVACS HOME app, as well as navigation and obstacle detection in real-world use. A particular highlight is the built-in TrueEdge trimmer, which is designed to automatically trim lawn edges. In this review, I’ll find out how well it works and whether the GOAT O1200 can actually replace a traditional lawn trimmer.
