Sound insulation for diesel parking heaters: What really reduces the noise level?

In this video, I test various practical ways of making a diesel parking heater quieter. Instead of subjective impressions, I rely on concrete volume measurements and compare the standard state with several targeted optimizations.

Among other things, an improved exhaust silencer, an optimized filter for the combustion air and a cross-talk silencer on the hot air are being tested. Each measure is evaluated individually so that it becomes clear which solution actually makes a measurable contribution to noise reduction.
