Build your own foldable sun sail – DIY sun protection for patio & pool

In this video, I show how I installed a custom-made, foldable awning over the sun deck between the garden kitchen and the pool. The flexible DIY solution offers optimum sun protection and can be easily folded up if required. I explain the attachment with tensioning ropes, show my retrofit with a sturdy stainless steel pole and go into typical challenges during assembly. Perfect for anyone who wants flexible shade for their patio or pool area.
