Winterizing My Pool—From the Final Cleaning to the New Winter Cover: I showed how I backwashed the filter at a higher pump speed, lowered the water level, and protected the pipes from frost. I also prepared the BAYROL dosing system and its measuring probes for frost-free storage. For the first time, I used a pool cover with aluminum struts and water bags to protect the pool over the winter.
